This 'scratch' map is merely for fun. I've been fortunate to spends years travelling without a 'home' or 'home country', but certainly not to tick countries off a list - most of my time has been visiting the same countries dozens of time to spend time with friends. Occasionally a low quality countries visited map tool does the rounds on social media, I just wanted something more permanent and much higher quality.

This page uses DataMaps and D3.js. Originally just presented as a static image, in early 2016 I have remade it with zoomable SVG image. Although commendable the result was somewhat lackluster. If you're interested you might also like to check these out:
